Unable to locate AirPods in my FindMy app

my airpods have been connected to my phone for awhile and when i go onto findmy app i can locate my iphone and ipad but never my airpods.

how do i fix this?

About AirPods and Find My:

If Find My was enabled with these, then note that the local shown is based off of the last time the device they were connected to that itself was connected to the internet. This is because AirPods are not assigned their own IP Address.


You Need to Unpair these:

So, log back in to iCloud in the device these are paid with. Then unpair these from the device. Finally, log out of iCloud once more.
