When I watch a show on Apple Tv + picture quality is almost completely black

Every time I open up the Apple TV plus app, on both of my Samsung TVs, and go to watch a show, the picture is shrouded in black, with only bright things, like sunlight, or the Apple logo and other titles shining through, with a grey haze to them. If I unplug the tv it will reset this, but only temporarily; the next time I go back to the app, I will have the same issues. I do not have this issue with any other streaming sites on my TVs, nor do I have the issue on my laptop or phone with Apple TV. Does anyone know why this might be, or how I can permanently fix it? Below are examples of what it looks like. As you can see the Apple logo is grey and pixilated and the footage from the show only properly shows any light.
