To turn on the flashlight tap the back of the phone three times flashlight will come on. You can set the brightness also.
To turn the flashlight off, go to the upper right corner pull down halfway and then turn it off.

One clarification: double or triple back tap only works when that feature is both enabled, and when Flashlight is selected from the many available options for back tap.
