Hi, Someone uploaded an app on my old mac and I do not have the password for their Apple account. I have just got a new iMac 24" 2023 and transferred everything over from old mac (2011 mac) and the red number 1 is now showing due to an update for that app, "Desktop Destroyer, stress reducer"
I cannot find the app anywhere on my computer, but would like to remove it or at least get rid of the red number 1.

Does the app show in Lauchpad? If so, and the app was from the Mac App Store, you can use Launchpad to remove it without having to find it on your drive.
