Apple Approval Notice

Just received a text stating that $143.95 charge that is pending and I need to call 1-*******5 to verify that this is a fraudulent charge

The message is a very common scam attempt. Do not interact with the message or the sender.

Probably a scam.


Apple does not send texts about purchases and if you don't see the charge on your payment method's statement, then it doesn't actually exist.


The provided number is very likely a scam number meant to get you to divulge personal details to the person on the other end.
