Magic Keyboard with Touch ID connectivity

I'm wondering if anyone who uses an Apple Magic Keyboard can tell me if it experiences the annoying "Bluetooth Sleep" issue that appears to be a common issue with bluetooth keyboards.

In way of background to this, my experience with bluetooth keyboards (attached to my MacBook Pro) has been that the bluetooth connectivity pauses after a little while of inactivity. When I return to the desk and start typing on the keyboard, the first several charters are dropped while the keyboard is reestablishing its connection to the computer. I believe this is a common bluetooth phenomenon but please correct me if I'm am mistaken.

I am currently experiencing this with a new Logitech MX Keys S keyboard - which I preferred because of the back light. However, if the Magic Keyboard doesn't have this same sleep delay issue, I think it would be a better choice overall.
