How do I disable SMART REPLIES with the new Apple AI? It is very impersonal.

I don't want to use AI when replying to family, friends, and people I love. I don't want a machine replying for personal messages. I don't want a machine telling me to reply with "I love you". I want to decide when and where that feeling and emotion needs to be relayed.

I am a developer, and I can't find any way to disable these forced smart replies in the Messages.app.

I think it is a very bad touch and decision by Apple to force everyone to use AI, especially when it comes to the "human touch".

Please let me disable any feature of AI that I don't want to use in my life and don't force feed it to me.

I dont want the suggestions. I realize it's been around for a long time. All of your examples pretty much are not intrusive.

Smart Replies in messages are intrusive and I don't want the chance that I accidentally click on one.

I'm having AI shoved in my face where I don't want it to, in a place where it is extremely impersonal to me and I want to disable it, specifically in iMessages/Messages.app.

You are not forced to use any reply
You are not forced to use any suggested words when typing

Machine Learning has been on your iPhone for a very long time now, it did not just appear when the label "Apple Intelligence" was assigned to it. You have seen this with:

Object detection in photos
Face detection in photos
Enhancing photos
Predictive Text
Creating Photo Memories
Siri Suggestions
Music Suggestions

Did you send feedback using the provided link?

As of now, you will see multiple suggestions to choose from, and you do not need to choose any if you wish, but there is no way to turn the suggestions off. If you want it to work differently, you need to let Apple know, as they will not see you post here. A post here will not be seen by Apple, since this is a user to user support site, but it will be seen if you use the Feedback link.
