Double sided printing

I just got an Epson 4500 printer and I can not find how to set it to print on both sides. Does anyone know how? Please help me. I am using so much paper.

One way would be from your Mac.

  • Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners. Then select your Epson printer.
  • Look for "Options & Supplies." Note that this may be different for different printer models.

This is where I can't assist you much as I don't have this particular printer, but you want to look for where you can select two-sided printing. Of course, I'm assuming that your printer supports this option. I did a quick review of this printer's user guide and couldn't find anything about duplex printing.

You may want to contact Epson support directly and ask them to be sure. I'm only going on what the user guide says ... and, if it doesn't, you won't see it as an option in System Settings.

In the United States, you can reach Epson's customer support by calling 1-800-GO-EPSON (1-800-463-7766). Their support hours are Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pacific Time.

For technical support, you can also contact them at (562) 276-4382, available Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Pacific Time, and Saturday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pacific Time.
