Issue with iPhone 15 Pro Camera – Part of Foot Missing in Photo

Dear Apple Support Team,

I am experiencing an issue with my iPhone 15 Pro's rear camera. In a recent photo, a portion of my left foot appears to be missing, replaced by a blurred section of the sidewalk. The photo was taken without any edits or filters. For security reasons I just cut the upper part of my body.

I have attached the problematic photo for your reference.

Could you please assist me in resolving this issue?

Thank you for your support.

Best regards,

iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 18

Thank you for your insights!

Is there any way to recover such a photo without the processing applied by the algorithms?

I’d like to get a version of the image that is raw or unprocessed, just as it was captured by the camera sensor, without the blending or computational adjustments.

Does the iPhone 15 Pro offer any option to capture unprocessed images, or is there an app/setting that can bypass these algorithms? I’d appreciate any suggestions to avoid this issue in the future. Sometimes is better to have a little worse quality but a real photo than like this one.

Thank you!
