Siri responds but no voice after installing update 18?

Check your setting - Apple Intelligence&Siri-Siri Response.it that preference for spoken response and silent mode off?
It’s assumed the reason you’re typing is you want it silent, including Siri’s reply.
You can also turn Siri speaking on in Accessibility too. Please follow this path,
iPhone > Settings > Accessibility > Siri > Prefer Spoken Response
Are you updated to iOS 18.1.1 that was released yesterday?
if you input by text, yes it will no voice
Upgrade to iOS18.1.1 was successful, however. Do I need to reinstall all my apps? i.e. Ring, Xfinity, my bank etc.
Nothing seems to work or only partially. Going to the Verizon store today for face-to-face help.

Followed your instructions. I changed setting from automatic to spoken response.
