Bug Report: Transparency Mode Sound issue and Crash caused by white noise.
Device: AirPods Pro 2 (Lightning) - A2698
Firmware: 7B21
When the AirPods are in Transparency Mode and the environment has certain white noises (fan in the background, or driving), the AirPods begin to transmit a static/louder white noise sound that it did not used to in previous firmwares. Interestingly after about a minute or so, one of the headphones will disconnect/reboot… then come back to the same issue. This will keep happening until you stop the nearby noise or switch out of transparency mode.
This issue does not occur in Adaptive, Noise Cancelling, or Off sound modes.
The environmental noise does not have to be very loud to trigger this issue. And the issue occurs regardless of loud sound protection being on or off.
