Face tracking not working for memojis

When trying to do a Memoji and record… The record button keeps disappearing and doesn’t allow me to record when doing Memojis. I have an iPhone 14 and it is updated to the newest iOS.

Why is my Memoji Face tracking failing? Recently, after the iOS 16.6, I’ve noticed that my Memoji does not work and is constantly telling me that I need to “tap to resume” or just straight up that “Face Tracking failed”. What is going on? Why did face tag disappear in iPhone 16 Pro Max with iOS 18.4? I’ve updated iPad mini 6 & iPhone 16 pro max to iOS 18.4, I’ve noticed the face tagging has disappeared from each picture (the little face pics in bottom left of the pics), also the location maps which appear underneath them no longer appear. The People section still has the pictures linked to them as do the maps. Has the updated messed it up or turned something off which I need to turn back on? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

iPhone 17 front camera keeps tracking my face in WhatsApp Hi, I’m on an iPhone 17 running the latest iOS, and every time I open the front camera in WhatsApp it automatically tracks my face and tries to center me. It happens even when I’m just taking a photo, not on a call. I’ve already turned off Auto Zoom and Auto Rotate in the Camera app, turned off WhatsApp’s camera effects, turned off face tracking on FaceTime, turned off Face ID, reinstalled the app, and restarted the phone. Nothing changes. It looks like some kind of system-level face tracking that WhatsApp is picking up from the iPhone’s camera, even though I’ve disabled everything I can find. Is there any way to stop this completely? I’m not trying to always focus on my face. It’s very distracting. Thanks.

I have also reset turned off, turned on… Enabled camera everything’s unable nothing has changed on my phone, but it has not been working since iOS 18
