Color-matching mouse and trackpad options for iMac 24

I'm about to buy the new imac 24 with M4, but I'm holding my purchase because I don't understand why I am limited to choose between mouse or trackpad. As the purchase option indicates that the mouse and trackpad will come in the same colour with the imac, it tempted me to purchase both.

And if I buy additional mouse or trackpad, it won't come with the same colour as iMac.

That's the only thing stopping me from purchasing right now.

We are end users just like you, Apple is simple the forum host and does not read or participate in them.

I would suggest that you contact the Apple on-line store to discuss your concern and what you would like. Navigate to Apple.com click the Store link in the upper left of the display and then click Ask a Specialist. It is that easy!

I followed your advice and chat with the sale assistant, and she said I can either buy mouse or trackpad, cannot buy both, and she confirmed that if I buy either separately, it would only come in either white or black in colour, wouldn't match the keyboard and mouse or trackpad.

But, she said she reported my enquiry to Apple already.

I hold my purchase. I think if I'm going ahead should be next year so the computer would be year 2025.

At least now you know. You can also let Apple know how you feel at www.apple.com/feedback. 2 mouths are better than 1 to get your voice heard.
