Apple Watch locked out after multiple failed login attempts

I was wearing my watch and I know code to unlock but I guess the jacket I was wearing made my watch think I was entering code wrong and it locked me out for like 5 hrs. and the code got tried to many times and now it’s saying I have to erase and reset watch. Can I fix this without erase and reset my watch. I have pictures that I like not to loose and the phone I got paired no longer works. But I just want my photos
