Can’t play in automation

Hi, I am having a problem using my Korg NanoKontrol 2 with Logic Pro.

I do a lot of string arrangements for people, and I use Modern Scoring Strings by Audiobro.  Normally I play the notes on my keyboard with one hand and the automation on my nanoKontrol at the same time.  I have the first 3 faders set to midi cc’s 1, 11, and 7.

The problem is, when I am just messing around, all 3 faders and all 3 midi cc’s are working as they should.  I can hear them changing as I slide the faders.  However, as soon as I try to write the automation in Latch mode only the volume fader, midi cc 7, automating.   And if I try to play the notes and write the automation all at once, then only the expression fader, midi cc 11, is automating.

So why aren’t all 3 writing automation as I move the faders simultaneously?  They always have before.  In fact, I did another string arrangement just a couple weeks ago, and nothing has changed since then, so I don’t know why it’s not working anymore now.

I am using Logic version 10.7.9

On a 2020 iMac

MacOS Monterey 12.7.4

I don’t think it’s an issue with the nanoKontrol, because the individual CC’s are still working.  They’re just not all working at the same time when I try to play in the automation.  I think it’s something to do with Logic, but I was just wondering if you guys have encountered this problem before and know how to fix it.

I found one previous thread with almost the same problem, but no answer and the solution they came up with did not work for me. It still only wrote in automation for one midi cc regardless if I recorded it along with the live performance or played it in later in Latch mode. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
