Managing Time Machine Backups?

Hi All,

I just setup my new M4 Mac Mini.

For some reason, I am receiving prompts that time machine can't back up.

I have plenty of space on my external HD. Also, I was trying to delete old

backups just clean up and it wouldn't let me.

Is there a way to automate Time Machine so it deletes old backups to clear

space, etc.?

Anyway, please advise.
