Unable to link WhatsApp on my iPhone 16 with WhatsApp wed on Windows.

whats app web of windows not working/linking with my iphone 16. tried all options. deinstall several times on desktop, downloaded straight from ms windows, reinstalled on iphone. still the same issue. it says "unexpected error". Even tried to link through phone number.

but whatsapp web is working. but that will have the options to connect calls, other features like app.

please provide a solution
