My iPhone14 Plus Front Camera Time Lapse Is Not Working

Everytime when I want to use time lapse on my iphone 14+ with front camera, it never saved in photos. but it can save when I use rear camera. Could you please explain why is it like that? Because I really need the time lapse on front camera to be working.
