Help! my notes in my phone have all disappeared. I have no idea how to restore them. They are in the cloud and on my laptop but gone on my phone (which I discovered when I got to the grocery store only to no longer have a shopping list grrr.
Any advice on how to get them back?

Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud, turn off Notes, reboot your iPhone and turn Notes back on. Wait a few minutes for your notes to be downloaded from iCloud.

it gave me a warning that things would be lost which made me nervous but I did this and it worked. annoying bug in the system. thanks!
