I updated my os to macos Sequoia Version 15.1.1 few days ago. I am getting the pc overheating and slow to the max so I can’t open any app or if I open any have to wait so long to interact one step with it . Just want to know anyone have the same issue? And any fix for this. Cos I checked there is no any other updates after this

Yes excessive heat will cause the computer to Throttle, become sluggish and unresponsive

So the original assertion " fix for this " to Sequoia seems rather unfounded and without bases

I'm using the new M4 macbook pro. After this 15.1.1 update, i can feel the bottom part of the laptop gets warmer than before..
does it mostly happen when idling while plugged in? there is a similar issue on intel as well, I am experiencing it on m2. It is most notable when leaving it to sleep while plugged in/lid shut.
there are many modifications though. Time machine has been disabled to prevent overwriting previous backups, as are software updates. Will restore using dfu/ipsw.
