My iPad's screen is completely unresponsive

My screen is completely unresponsive, except for when I take a screenshot, and click on the image of the screenshot in the bottom right corner. When done, I get to edit the image as expected, and interact with the screen, till I am not editing the image anymore.

Attempt to hard restart: I held down on the power button + up-volume-key, till the slider went away and I was prompt yet again for a passcode. Keeping track of time, this was over 3 minutes long.

Siri: I attempted to get siri to either: type in my passcode for me, or restart the device. Siri, as expected, couldn't type in the passcode. Though, when requesting to restart the device, siri says, "You'll need to unlock your iPad first." before bringing up a password prompt that was also unusable, titled: "Unlock to continue with the Siri request" that shortly vanished.

Etc:

  • cant turn on device by touching screen, or using volume buttons, but may turn on through power button.
  • Battery at 74% by time of writing, also tried doing this with it plugged in, but decided to leave it unplugged after testing, hoping it may die eventually.
  • screenshot taken by Power-Button + Volume-Up-Button
  • Everything on the screenshot edit area is interactable
  • Siri symbol is not interactable
  • As normal, volume buttons don't change volume on lock screen, though can during siri gui during particular intervals. With the volume up, siri does not use sound.
  • When asking siri to active Guided Access: "Sorry, I can't do that.'
  • Device: asked, "Hey siri, what device is this?"; response: "There is an Apple TV in 1 room: the living room."
  • Device: asked, "Hey siri, is this device an iPad?"; response: "This is the only iPad signed in to your iCloud account."
  • Obvious Hardware: large, iPad, without homebutton.
  • asked, "Hey siri, turn off bluetooth"; response: same as to the question about restarting the device.
  • asked, "Hey siri, can I turn off the wifi?"; response: allows me to turn on or off the wifi by clicking a toggle button that is interactable.
  • There is oftentimes a yellow dot next to wifi symbol, top-right corner while using siri. Think this may just mean the mic is on, but I am to include almost every detail here.
