How Do I Disable #Images in iMessage - ios 18.1.1 in 2024

I use screentime on my kid's iPhone, and had previously disabled the #image search in the messages app (this is historically one of the obvious 'back doors' to searching mature images). Sometime in the last year as ios updates have come in, the app drawer now appears different and #images is back. All instructions on removing this from the app drawer are now outdated. Maybe it's called 'favorite apps' now? The instructions used to say to click the "..." and then you got the options you need, but that just doesn't exist anymore it's now a "+" and this list of apps comes up with no apparent way to edit or organize this list of apps. Does anyone know how to disable #images now? Thanks
