I don't have a lot of room in the drive were Apple Music is located and I cant export the 'content' file to another drive , the action only adds a link were Apple player then opens up.
Why is it that when I by the CD I can do whatever I want with the media
and not with Apple store content that I bought and paid for?

I've asked for the thread to be relocated to a forum specifically for media on Windows. I know in the past with iTunes (which I still use) one could specify where entire libraries were located, or even just particular files.
If you buy something physical, you buy the disk. If you buy a digital movie, you buy the right to view it, not the movie itself
For me this is a reason to buy my games that I play on a disc
