Mac lagging after being idle overnight.

I have a new Mac Studio (M2 Max), the whole thing is great in comparison to my old MBP 2013, but there is a strange issue. If I leave my Mac on overnight in the morning the keyboard and mouse are partially unresponsive, jumpy and the cursor blinks in and out, on top of that the whole system acts messed up, like back arrows not working or safari opening pages in windows instead of tabs. it only happens after it was on over midnight. I thought it was the nightshift issue, so disabled that and it is still going! And clues at what to dig into?

Mac Studio, macOS 15.1

EtreCheck is a FREE simple little diagnostic tool to display the important details of your system configuration and allow you to copy that information to the Clipboard. It is meant to be used with Apple Support Communities to help people help you with your Mac. It will not display any personal info. Give it Full Disk Access.

Give etrecheck Full Disk Access before running.

Thanks for Old Toad’s etrecheck instructions…
