Viewing individual headphone battery level on android

Using Powerbeats pro headphones on Android. In the Beats app, it shows the battery level of the headphones combined together. If one headphone is 90% and the other is 13%, it will only show a unique global level of 90%. When I connect the headphone with BT, I momentarily get an android notification that shows the individual battery level, but aftet its gone I cannot see it again unless I disconnect and reconnect BT. Is there any better way that I missed? This is important to me because these headphones are not always charging when placed in the charget. It needs special attention to ensure its charging proper.
