iPhone text messages not going to Android.

When I text my husband’s Android the text messages now go to his work iPhone. Seems to happen when I’m in close proximity to his iPhone. This phone by the way has a completely different phone number and as been removed from our home WiFi. This became and issue after RMS was implemented. Several weeks ago. Any suggestions for a fix?
