One-time verification codes don’t notify me
I receive notifications for regular texts, but one-time codes don’t notify me. I have to manually open the Messages app to see the message with the code.

Replying to my own post with a solution that worked. Go to Settings > Apps > Messages > Notifications > Customize Notifications > Allow Notifications > toggle Unknown Senders to the on position. Authentication codes now alert.
