I am no longer able to hear or monitor tracks recorded with an external instrument on Logic 11.1

Since updating to Logic 11.1 yesterday, I am no longer able to hear or monitor tracks recorded with an external instrument (guitar). The track is showing a waveform but I do not hear. anything on playback. I have not amended my settings. I am using a Scarlett 212 DAI and monitoring through headphones. The devices are showing correctly in the audio settings.
