Text too small - followup
Font size on system related items can't be increased to a large enough size to read easily on high-res monitors.
In a previous post at text/font is TOO SMALL TO READ - Apple Community
the OP is bummed that they can's increase font size of system related UI items like the size of font in menus.
I agree 100% with them, but wanted to point out one way to help (certainly not a good solution as it causes lots of other issues) is to use the ability to zoom the entire UI using the macOS built-in "Zoom" functionality. To enable this feature, open the "System Settings" (top left Apple menu) and select the "Accessibility" item in the list on the left of the pane. Under there select the "Zoom" option in the list of "Vision" related options then choose the options that make sense for you. Here is what I have on mine:
In my case, I use the Control key to control when I want to use this zoom feature, then with the control key pressed down simply use your mouse scrolling feature to zoom in and out. This increases everything in size, not just the menu so it sometimes helps and sometimes doesn't. It's easiest with a mouse that has a scrolling wheel, but that's just a personal preference, as it works on any mouse I think.
Once you get used to it, it's a good tool to use when you need to read the smaller print.
Hope that helps, at little a least...

ps - I really wish that these Apple Community posts would remain open so that they can be added to rather than create a brand new posting with the same subject. Makes it a lot easier to find solutions in one post than have to read more than one, possible many, all about the same subject. What exactly is the time threshold before a post becomes too old to add something new and a new post needs to be created on the same topic???
