Will Apple service 3rd party refurbished iPhones from Amazon?

Apple or an authorized Apple service shop will service the phone for a fee as long as they do not detect tampering by an unauthorized shop.

It’s 3rd party refurbished, not Amazon refurb. I suspect not sold by Amazon, just fulfilled. Thus no warranty from Apple or Amazon.

Maybe, as long as there are no unauthorized parts in the phone. The safest place to buy a refurbished iPhone, one which comes with a one year warranty from Apple and is guaranteed to have only authentic parts in it is Apple itself, from their own Refurbished Store.

There's a 90-day satisfaction guarantee, but I don't see any mention of a warranty period beyond that.

So … not up to the standards of the Apple Certified Refurbished program, where a Certified Refurbished iPhone will come with a new outer shell and new battery, will have been refurbished by Apple, and will have a 1-year warranty.

Who actually sold it? Was it Amazon or did Amazon only do fulfillment? If Amazon didn’t sell it, and only did fulfillment (shipping), its stated so on their website. Please post a link to the item and we can tell you definitively.
