Length of audio message

A previous topic discussed the length of audio message. Sending from an iPhone to another operating system. Either android or whatever, the most I could get was three minutes and 20 seconds before it told me I had to start a new message. From iPhone to iPhone I really don’t know. Over 20 mins so far on my tests. With latest update 18.1.1. I’ve successfully sent 11 minutes of audio message to a non-Apple phone.
