Final Cut Pro subscription on multiple Apple devices

i purchased a subscription for final cut pro for my MacBook Air and paid fully, i wanted to have final cut pro on second device ipad pro but it requires me to buy another subscription even that both are on the same apple id

Can't I have one account (subscription) for both of these devices? I want to work on my projects between those two and I am confused why am I required to pay yearly on my iPad after I already paid fully for my MacBook
