M4 MacBook Pro Speaker Volume Low

I have a brand new M4 MacBook Pro.

The speaker volume is turned up full force.

Whatever I'm listening (Music, YouTube, etc.) the volume is so low as to be hardly audible.

The same is true whether listening by internal speakers or Air Pods.

I've checked the System Setting Sound - no luck.

What gives? Do I have a faulty MacBook?

How to fix my MacBook Pro speakers that are very quiet on full volume. When I am using my MacBook Pro speakers, the volume will not increase even when I have tapped the F12 key to it's highest setting.
