I want to buy Macbook pro m3 box pack. does the warranty start from when it will purchased or from when I took it out and activated? as of now the seller is saying the warrenty is already started and will be expired in Aug-2025.
Is this make sense?

The warranty starts when the authorized Apple dealer originally sells the Mac. It doesn't matter when the Mac is first actually used. If the seller is saying that the warranty started in August, then the Mac is not new, or is being sold by an unauthorized dealer, and should be priced accordingly. Be wary if this is a device that you cannot inspect personally before paying for it. Too often people get scammed when purchasing a device sight-unseen.
