How to activate Siri without touching the phone?

Go to Settings/Siri & Search and turn on either “Hey Siri”, “Siri”, or both. Then say “Hey Siri, what’s tomorrow’s weather” or whatever else you want to know. If the request requires personal information: “Siri, call my husband” you will have to unlock the phone, but anything that is just a general information request can be answered even with the iPhone locked.

If you have Siri set to listen, you can activate Siri by saying, “Hey Siri” or just “Siri.” Have you tried that?
