iPhone 14 Pro Max overheats when using ProMotion

my iphone 14 pro max gets alot hotter with ProMotion on than off, compared to my iphone 15 pro which doesnt really get hot with promotion and always display on

Try and force restart it to see if the issues persist

Press and quickly release the volume up button.
Press and quickly release the volume down button.
Press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo (this takes around 10 seconds).
