Touchpad sensitivity issue on my MacBook Air

I have to really use pressure with my two fingers to scroll. Is there anything I can do about this?

Magic Trackpad 2 is too sensitive I am on a Mac Studio running Sequoia using a Magic Trackpad 2. I am constantly dealing with the results of very light finger brushes on the trackpad as I work. It results in all kinds of bad behavior with things jumping around because it thinks I am clicking or dragging. In the settings for the trackpad click is set to firm and tracking speed is at the central setting. Everything else is off except Secondary click is set to click with two fingers. Under Scroll & Zoom, only Natural scrolling is set. Everything is set to Off under More Gestures. Bringing up "Accessibility Shortcuts", nothing is set.--Light finger brushes are inevitable with a trackpad. It should be possible to set the trackpad to require some minimum reasonable pressure before it responds to anything.--Is this a software or a hardware issue? It's been with me through multiple operating systems and at both home and work.

MacBook Pro trackpad sensitivity prevents keyboard usage My trackpad is so sensitive, that I can't use the keyboard. This seems to be a new development on my MacBook Pro. I have no similar issues with other laptops. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

My MacBook Pro trackpad has become hyper sensitive Lately my trackpad has become hyper sensitive. It seems like if my finger (or wrist even gets close to the surface of the track-pad, it goes active. Sometimes it moves the window, starts typing random characters, activates the previous window, or even closes the window I was working on entirely. I don't actually need to physically touch the trackpad. I think it would be helpful if you could walk me through reducing the sensitivity of both the trackpad and keyboard, I think that would be helpful. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Yeah, you can check your trackpad settings to see if anything is set up on the right way there
