Dead key prevents typing letter of name in username

The b key on my MacBook Pro is dead. I shut down my computer last night, without remembering that I would need to include a b when typing in my username to log this morning. Now I cannot log in. The problem is that I can’t type the b.

I’m hopeful someone has a resolution to this problem? I’ll still need to get the b key dealt with after I get access and turn off the login setting.
