After factory reset on iPhone-X speaker/sound stopped working. Since then it has been sporadic. sound would work for 20min to 1hr and then stop.. no clue what is the issue.

If the sound is working sporadically it could be Bluetooth interference.
Disable Bluetooth and check again.
