Being able to hide the component clips when you create a Multicam clip (in Final Cut Pro 11) is wonderful. But I have hundreds of Multicam clips already created.
Is there a way to hide those component clips AFTER the MC is created? (Other than manually, I mean.)
It's not always obvious which clips are part of a Multicam and which are not.

Am not sure about hiding them retrospectively. Prior to FCP 11 I always put all the Multicam clips for a particular project in a separate event called Multicam. The original clips that made up the MCs stay in whatever event they were in originally saved to. Smart Collections keeps them separated as well.
Thanks Larrie - yes, you can use the search facility to create a Smart Collection of Multicam clips, and that's excellent if you know the footage you're looking for is a Multicam.
It doesn't help when you're simply trying to reduce clutter while you look for an unknown clip though.
