Distorted audio on webm video file

Hello,

Can anyone tell me why webm audio file

is playing distorted audio on my Mac mini (2018)? I have tried listening to the audio file via VLC Player, Safari Browser, Chrome Browser, and Brave Browser. In all cases, I cannot hear what the interviewee is saying - just distorted audio. I have tried this on 2 different Mac Mini (2018) devices and they both have this problem.

FYI - other video files/YouTube/etc. work just fine - just this specific file is having trouble. Note: My Mac Mini has been fully updated to the latest Sequoia release.
