Apple Watch not syncing with health app after watch update

Since the latest watch update (Nov 25 2024) my watch is not syncing with my phones health app. Googling seems to be a complete waste of time of time as there are too many different “solutions” cause of the number of iOS and watch versions and all the various permutations of such variables.

iPhone 13, iOS 18

Did you try to force restart by pressing and holding the Digital Crown and the Side button together for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again?

Also force restart your iPhone:

If this does not work, unpairing the watch again would be the next step:
