Search function for messages (texts) is really bad

The search function in the Messages (texting) app is terrible. Whenever I try to quickly pull up a person I texted recently by searching their name, the search results constantly display individuals that I haven't texted in a long time (or ever) and often times doesn't even show the person I texted two days ago. For example. I was recently texting with a friend named "Marc" two days ago. Instead of scrolling down for 15-20 seconds to find my last text with Marc, I typed "Marc" in the search bar at the top. Four contacts then showed up horizontally across the top (right below my search bar), as grey circles with their white contact initials inside the circles and their names underneath. Not one of these were my friend Marc that I texted two days ago. Instead, it displayed four contacts that have "marc" somewhere in their name. A "Marcos", a "Marcela", a "Marchiona", and a "Marcelo." There was no blue "See all" wording that I can press to then hopefully expand the search a bit and find the Marc that I texted two days ago. The hilarious thing is, the last time I texted Marcos was 7 months ago, Marcela was 4 months ago, Marcelo was 5 months ago, and Marchiona was......................wait for it............ NEVER!! I have never texted Marchiona EVER. Why is the search function ignoring the Marc I texted two days ago, and instead pulling up Contacts with "marc" in their names that I texted many months ago, and even one that I've NEVER EVER texted??!?!? This example happens to me constantly with searching in the Messages app, searching many different names. This is a consistent issue that is so frustrating, because I am in constant need of searching my text messages for operating my business. I am frankly so surprised that this continues to be such an obvious issue on an iPhone, which everything else on the iPhone is so intuitive and designed so well. I never write reviews on community sites like this, but the search function is so weirdly bad, I took the 15min to write this here and hope that Apple addresses this issue. (I use an iPhone 12 with all updates current)
