iMessages has a weird layout

Hi, my iMessage looks very different from the normal iMessage layout. It’s missing a subject bar in the texts and adding images/gifs/stickers is weird, I have compared it to other iPhones and it definitely looks different. No upgrades changed it. Is this how it’s supposed to look?
