Ugreen 313 docking ststion for Macbook Pro M4

Hello to everyone,

I am a new user and I need some help.

Is the Ugreen Revodok Max 313 docking station good for Macbook Pro M4 pro?

Does anyone have experience with this dock? Do you suggest other options?

Thanks in advance and all the best.

Your link leads to a top-level UGREEN page. I couldn't find a Max 213 dock on the U.S. UGREEEN site, but when I changed to the European version, the Max 313 came up.

UGREEN – UGREEN Revodok Max 213 Thunderbolt 13-in-1 Docking Station

UGREEN (Europe) – UGREEN Revodok Max 313 Thunderbolt 4 Dock, 13-in-1 40Gbps Docking Station

UGREEN claims that this dock supports a "Triple 4K @ 60 Hz Display", but I think that on a Mac, you might find that it supports only two "4K @ 60 Hz" displays – that the DisplayPort and HDMI port might produce mirrored output. I don't think this is a UGREEN thing, but a Mac thing.

The M4 Pro MacBook Pro supports a maximum of two external monitors, so the practical upshot might be that you would need to plug a USB-C to DisplayPort or USB-C to HDMI adapter cable into the Thunderbolt 4 daisy-chaining port if you were using the dock to connect two external monitors.

Other Thunderbolt dock vendors you could consider:

As far as I know, all three of these vendors have been in the business of selling high-end Thunderbolt equipment to Mac users for many years. Between them, they have more Thunderbolt docks and hubs than you can shake a stick at.

Caveat: I do not know offhand which of these vendors do business in Europe.
