Difference between AirPods Pro 2nd Generation and AirPods Pro 2

I’m in the UK and my local Argos Store is selling AirPods Pro 2nd Generation for £179.00 down from £229.00 which is a saving of £50.00.

My question is what is the difference between AirPods Pro 2nd Generation and AirPods Pro 2.

The main reason for my purchase would be for the hearing aid function which isn’t currently available in the UK but will be available in the future. Does anyone know when it will be available and would both these AirPods support it. Thanks

No difference. One is just the colloquial way to refer to them and then you have Apple’s official way “AirPods Pro (2nd generation)”.

You may want to check and make sure both options are USB-C, however. I’m not sure what the standards are in the UK but in the US it is still possible to accidentally stumble upon the old Lightning versions.

There is no difference between AirPods Pro second generation and AirPods Pro 2. This are just 2 different means to say the same thing.

There is a difference between AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods 2 tho, so without the pro. The AirPods 2 without the pro doesn't have the hearing aid function, only the AirPods Pro 2/second generation supports that
