Wi-Fi Connectivity Issues on Mac OS 15.1.1 and iOS 18.1.1
Hello dear community,
I recently bought a MacBook Pro with the M4 Pro chip and updated it to macOS 15.1.1(24B2091) I also have an iPhone 15 Pro Max running iOS 18.1.1(22B91). After updating both my devices, I started experiencing Wi-Fi issues.
Both devices are signed in with the same iCloud account, and the networks I’m trying to connect to are ones I’ve always used without any problems before. However, after the updates, I can no longer connect to any of these networks. Restarting the devices temporarily fixes the issue for the current network, but as soon as I change locations (e.g., return home from the office), I can’t connect to my home Wi-Fi again. Restarting the devices resolves the issue, but it’s a repetitive cycle. While this issue occurs, I can’t even connect to my iPhone’s hotspot. The device cycles through available networks one by one, trying to connect but failing each time. If I select “Forget This Network” and attempt to reconnect by entering the password, it recognizes the network but displays the message: “Unable to join the network [network name].”
Standard troubleshooting steps haven’t worked. I’d appreciate any advice or solutions from anyone who has experienced and resolved this issue. Thank you in advance for your help!
