change the way messages interacts with text clippings

hi all.

mac pro 5,1 rx580 mojave/big sur

explanation of how we use txt clippings:

coming from mojave, I test drove big sur operating system at my work place.

we use text clippings to create automated message responses, we use them a LOT.

what we do is we leave the text clippings on the desktop and then when we need to send a text message we drag the text clipping to the messages app and it populates the text box with the text inside the text clipping.

this saves us so much time and makes our process streamline.

the issue:

now with big sure and any other operating systems I've tried it will instead create a sort of pdf file which the customer will likely not now how to/be able to open.

the questions:

1) does anyone know if there is a way for me to hack into the big sur OS to force it to respond as if it was

mojave with this particular request

2) does anyone know of a work around (maybe something like typing a particular phrase auto fills a pre written response OR perhaps something that utilizes automator app to do the same thing).

please let me know!

also interested in alternative methods - please be open minded

*note* the way the text clipping react in the mail app is consistnet with how we need it to respond in the messages app. that hasn't changed once moving to big sur. so idk if that can help at all (we really need i for messages though)
