Unable to Chrome cast to my Google TV since the last Sequoia update

Ever since I updated to the latest OS, Sequoia, on my iMac and MacBook Pro, I have been unable to Chrome cast to my Google TV. I get the message: "To cast, give Chrome access in system settings." Please let me know how to fix this. Up until this update, I had no casting issues at all!

I have tried everything, from uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome to changing and adding Chrome in Privacy & Security settings (screen and system audio recording)—nothing helps!

Please let me know how to solve this issue.

Try giving Chrome full disk access.

System Settings > Privacy & Security > Full Disk Access.

Scroll to the bottom and select the (+) icon to add Chrome.

This worked for me. Try it:

Copy and paste this link: chrome://flags/#use-network-framework-for-local-discovery

Then DISABLE this feature flag

I reloaded Sequoia and it loaded Sequoia 15.3. Now casting works. Go fugure.

I am having this exact same issue. Updated my laptop to Sequoia 15.3 and now i cannot cast which is highly disappointing as I use this feature often. Does anyone know what to do that doesnt involve whiping data from the laptop?

It started to work few mins back atleast. I checked by casting it on google chromecast and I can see the cast option available. I did not make any changes or updates to my MacOS in recent times.
