I received an email today - allegedly from Apple saying : " Our system detected an unauthorized attempt by individuals to impersonate y឵our Apple ID account". Also "We've Temporary Suspend your AppIe ID (my email here) and Apple Pay Service. The sender is :- sales@techniart.com
Can someone please reassure me that this is a Scam?

This is a scam. 100% You can see that at the senders address, this is not an official Apple address.
If you want to get more reassurance, you can always Contact - Official Apple Support to ask if the message is coming from them
